Bhayani Foundation is a non-profit organization actively involved in the community work across India and United States. Raised in Mumbai, Dr. Raj Bhayani is the founder of this organization. The foundation usually looks forward to the philanthropic areas in which not many people come forward to contribute.
It works diligently toward the welfare and betterment of the society especially the underprivileged people. The project initiatives include but are not limited to raising funds and providing relief to the natural disaster victims, children’s education, provision of clean drinking water, offering free meals and education to school children and organizing blood donation drives among many others.
Medicine, healthcare and women empowerment are also some of the other social areas of work for which the projects are carried out by the organization.
Another major project of Anganwadis (rural mother and child care centers) focuses on combating the problem of child hunger and malnutrition. Apart from that, its another initiative provides a learning environment to boost the overall growth and development of children in the school. Its primary goal is to help children become skilled in digital technology so that they are well-prepared for the digital age. A highly impactful project “Give Me Water” provides safe drinking water by digging borewells in some villages of India.
Dr. Bhayani is a part of the Board of Trustees for SaveLIFE Foundation which brought about the Good Samaritan Law and Road Safety Bill into effect to help road accident victims and improve road safety in India.
