Bhayani foundation was established by Dr. Raj Bhayani who is a distinguished surgeon, social activist, and philanthropist in New York. This first ENT surgeon in India to complete training in neurosurgery has also earned fellowship in the Facial Plastic and Microvascular Surgery.
He has been honored with more than 50 international, national and state awards and scholarships. Among many prestigious awards, he has been felicitated with the United States Congressional Achievement Award for community service, Lifetime Achievement Award By Indian National Bar Association, Most Influential Leader in Indian American Community, Indo American Bilateral Award and Lifetime Achievement Award in Medical Sciences by Newspaper Association of India.
He is also a part of the Board of Trustees of SaveLIFE Foundation. This foundation has helped in implementing the Good Samaritan Law and Road Safety Bill in order to offer help to the victims of road accidents and better road safety in India.
Acknowledging his notable accomplishments and extensive research work in the medical field, his name has been mentioned in the Marquis Who’s Who in America as Distinguished Physician in Medicine and Healthcare.
For Dr. Bhayani, philanthropy is a way of life. He mostly finds such social areas or projects to create an impact in the community where people mostly do not take the initiative to offer help. He had also organized a football match between the Bollywood stars and parliamentarians in New Delhi to raise social awareness about government campaigns “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan”.
